Prerequisite: Introduction to Windows or comparable experience. Must be proficient with the mouse and keyboard. Course
handout covers version 2013; students will use version 2013 in class.

BEGINNING - INTERMEDIATE
PowerPoint enables you to create dazzling presentations that capture the attention of your audience.
Learn how to plan, develop, and build a variety of presentations. Work with different types of slides, and edit their layout,
design, and color scheme. Incorporate tables, pictures, clipart, charts, diagrams, videos, and sounds into your presentations.
Add headers and footers, links to websites and files, and special effects to enhance your message. Include Transitions and
Animations, and modify their settings. Use different slide views for editing your presentation. Use Outline View to quickly enter
text. Use Slide Sorter View to copy, move, and delete slides. Use Notes Pages View to add speaker’s notes. Email, publish, or
copy your presentation onto a CD / Thumbdrive.
