BUSINESS WRITING FOR CONTRACTORS
In business writing, it is always the writer’s responsibility to make sure his or her message is understood.
Communicating your thoughts in a concise, logically organized manner is invaluable in business writing. This
course will teach you how to write with more clarity and precision. Too often, business writing is sloppy, poorly
written, disorganized, littered with jargon, and incomplete. Whether you are writing an RFI, proposal, business
plan, or an email to your department, your message is important.
Effective business writing is clear, concise and courteous. Truly effective writing ensures that your message
will be unambiguous and your reader will know what to do next. This course will be a hands-on workshop in
developing your writing skills.
