Price is still a role player and always will be, yet new international companies are always entering our local market demanding European standards in sustainability. How is modern architecture, and legislation, affecting the evolution of your product? Market dynamics have changed due to new laws, green building regulations and sustainability which does influence the evolution of our product mix. What would you identify as the critical drivers for modern roofs? Ease of installation, availability, performance, price and green building regulations as well as sustainability. We are pretty much driven by what the client wants. With numerous challenges currently facing the industry, including strike action, electricity and water shortages as well as material quality, what positives can you identify? Customers are certainly looking at ways to help the environment, as well as conservation of energy.
