Choose wisely when it comes to the peaks, as you don’t want anything too steep or too dense with foliage. Remember, think like a kid! Pick a modest hill and just have fun! Snow kayaking is typically done in the backcountry, and has increased in popularity a great deal over the last few years. Not sure how to go about it? There are plenty of video examples and instructions out there, but we personally recommend talking to an expert snow sport enthusiast beforehand. It’s just common sense, and well worth the trip if you go with someone who knows what they’re doing! Whether you are looking for something extreme or a more pleasant fall or winter activity, all it takes is a little research. Get out there and find out what people are into this season! You might just find something you have never considered seriously before, or perhaps never even heard of. Any outdoor enthusiast is likely to try every activity once, because you never know until you try, right?
