Tikkun Olam Super Stars ( TOSS )
Earn community service hours and help the community Grades : 6 – 8
Tikkun Olam Super Stars ( TOSS ) is for Grades 6-8 . Tikkun Olam ( Hebrew for “ repairing the world ”) is the basis for the TOSS program , which is designed to give middle school-aged youth both a social and community service opportunity monthly during the school year . Not only can TOSS participants earn community service hours , but they will also learn the value and meaning of giving back to the community while engaging in a fun social activity to support positive peer relationships .
January 16 Help Feed the Hungry Monday , 1:00 – 4:00 pm
February 19 Planting for Tu B ’ Shevat Sunday , 1:00 – 4:00 pm
March 12 Helping at Community Purim Carnival Sunday , 12:00 – 3:00 pm
April 23 “ Feelie Hearts ” to support grieving children Sunday , 1:00 – 4:00 pm

BBYO
Grades : 8 – 12
BBYO is the world ’ s leading pluralistic Jewish youth movement . BBYO is teen-led and modeled as a high school fraternity and sorority , including two movements : Aleph Zadik Aleph ( AZA ) for boys and B ’ nai Brith Girls ( BBG ), for girls . Richmond BBYO has two chapters , an AZA chapter ( Monarchs AZA ) and a BBG chapter ( Dr . Abraham Cohen BBG ). Richmond BBYO is a part of Eastern Region which includes the communities of the Peninsula and Tidewater in Virginia and all of North Carolina . BBYO members participate in conventions throughout the year in Greensboro , Raleigh and Richmond . Weekly and Sunday afternoon events are held at the Weinstein JCC throughout the year , with varied programs including social , education , recreational activities , community service and Israel programs . Birthday Parties
Customized for toddlers , kids , and teens .
Let us do the work so you can do the play ! Birthdays at the Weinstein JCC are a fun and stress-free way to celebrate your child ’ s special day . All parties include a party room following the program for one hour , white paper products and tablecloths , ice , tables , chairs , utensils , goodie bags , free access to outdoor playgrounds and party invitations .

Dance Parties
Let them play dress up and dance like no one ’ s watching ! Choose from ballet , tap , jazz or hip-hop with a professional instructor from the Weinstein JCC School of Dance . All parties held in the KC Dance Studio .
12 children or less : $ 215 JCC members Additional fees apply for the Dance Instructor . ( Add $ 7 for each additional child after 12 )
Pool Parties
Make a big birthday splash ! The party consists of one hour in the party room ( which you supervise ) and one hour of pool fun , where we supply the lifeguards , Parent-tot parties are also available for 2-4 year olds . The salt-water Sternheimer Recreational Pool features a beach entry , small slide , large spiral slide , lemon drops , mushroom waterfall , lazy river and whirlpool . Children under 5 require 1 adult per child to accompany them in the pool .
Party times vary : Saturdays 11 – 5 pm or Sundays 12 – 5 pm
20 kids for Party ( ages 5 +) $ 225 JCC Members only ($ 5 each additional child )
12 kids for Preschool Party ( ages 2-4 ) $ 225 JCC Members
Sports Parties
Score some points with your sports-loving kid ! Tumbling , indoor soccer , t-ball , basketball or organized games are all offered in a structured environment in the Rachel and Sol Banks Gymnasium . Play for an hour and then come enjoy the party room and presents .
14 children or less : $ 185 JCC Members
15 children or more : $ 220 JCC Members
