Hungover Sunday

Review Andrew Carman

The ability to take a subject matter that could be perceived as sad and depressing and turn it into a song with a quick rhythm and upbeat message is a sign of an excellent songwriter .
“ Hell and Back ” by Andrew Carman does just that , perfectly describing a time in his life that so many of us can relate to .
While we all haven ’ t lived out of our truck for 6 months , we have questioned our choices and chasing dreams while figuring out what path to take next .
Stubbornness is at the root of “ Hell and Back ” with lyrics such as “ It ’ s too late to turn back , so I fight until the end ” and “ I ’ ve been to Hell and back , but hell , I ’ m back again ”.
Andrew ’ s rich vocals help convey his message of not giving up and instead being ready to face whatever is thrown at him next , head on . “ Hell and Back ” and a video shot in-house for “ Road Less Traveled ” are both available now on Acoustic Drive Records .
Andrew Carman is one of a handful of artists that sounds just as good in live performances as studio sessions .
