In Brief Diageo and EMC Recognised as the World’s Best Multinational Workplaces by Great Place to Work® Huawei Named One of LinkedIn’s “World’s 100 Most InDemand Employers of 2014” Diageo ranked second highest among the FMCG companies represented in this year’s list; EMC recognised for career opportunities and flexible environment The only Chinese company to make the list; follows on heels of Interbrand Ranking LONDON | Diageo, a global leader in beverage alcohol, announced on 27 October 2014 that it has been placed in the top 20 of the World’s Best Multinational Workplaces by Great Place to Work® for the fourth consecutive year. The ranking is the world’s largest annual study of workplace excellence and identifies the top 25 best multinationals in terms of workplace culture. Diageo is placed at number 20, and ranked second highest among the FMCG companies represented in this year’s list. Diageo has received the Great Place to Work distinction in 15 countries where it does business. EMC announced it was named #18 on this list, marking its first appearance on the globally recognised ranking. EMC was recognised for career opportunities, flexible environment, and collaborative, results-based culture. 16 November 2014 SHENZHEN | Huawei announced, on 27 October 2014, that it has been named one of LinkedIn’s “World’s 100 Most InDemand Employers of 2014.” At #95, Huawei is the only Chinese company to make the list, which was based on an analysis of billions of data points, between LinkedIn members and companies, as well as user surveys to determine the level of familiarity and interest in working for a company. Huawei currently has approximately 170,000 employees in 170 countries around the world. On the R&D front, Huawei’s 70,000 product and solution specialised staff comprise 45 percent of the company’s total global workforce.
