To not forget
In the last few days, several individuals from College Presidents to business People, bankers, and directors of foundations have asked me the same question: How does the Latino community follow the changing immigration policies of the new administration in government?
This has made me think over this special phase of the Latino integration in this country. In my opinion, it’s the right time for all of us Latinos to proclaim our voices and join the millions of women, men and children that pour into the streets to peacefully and democratically resist the xenophobic advances; and evidence something obvious: it doesn’t matter where we come from, what we profess, and where we go to; the only thing that matters is that united by our humanity, our strength multiplies, because at the end of the day… we are all immigrants!
