MonAerie is a singer, actress and
dancer from Chicago, IL and has been a student
of music for over 20 years. Aeriel currently spends
most of her time performing on Chicago stages
and promoting her solo work when not in front
of the curtain or behind the camera. Mon’Aerie
was a featured dancer on Fox’s hit show Empire
during its first season. She is also very active on
the local music scene and has been highlighted at
artist features throughout Chicago such as AAHH
Fest, Hip Hop Fest, The Promontory, The Bassment
Chicago, Untitled, AMFM's Jazz Series, Soul
Sessions and Tweak Central Lounge Radio. Most
recently, Mon’Aerie is working on a House/Afro
beat/Soul EP titled "EDEN" that will be released in
Spring 2017. Her newest single "When U" can be
streamed from iTunes and Spotify.

of music? Colorful, Sultry and Nostalgic
What makes my music
different from others in my
industry? My music is different because it
is the words illustrate story being told through the
sounds I feel connected to around the world. My
work embodies my personality - innocent, colorful,
and unique. I do my best to bring people together
and vibe out to different sounds. I have studied lots
of genre's of music and got lost trying to replicate
what had already been defined. I chose House &
Afro-beat/Pop because I understood who I was
through that music. I found my identity. My music is
my journey. My music is authentically me.
