LCSD Hosts EMBDC Business After
Hours Event
On November 29, Lauderdale County Schools hosted an EMBDC
Business After Hours event. The purpose was to celebrate our
achievements and convey the importance of business and education working together. We know that ninety percent of Mississippi
students are educated in the public schools. Therefore, having
strong schools is vital to the current and future success of our community. Business and education working collaboratively can help
ensure economic growth continues in our area. I want to personally thank all who attended this event and the sponsors who gave
generously, EMEPA, Robinson Electric Supply Company, ELS, Mississippi Power, Piggly Wiggly, and Purvis Business Machines.
Randy Hodges, Superintendent
Lauderdale County Schools is pleased to announce two outstanding individuals as Administrator of the Year. John
Lisenbe, Principal of Clarkdale Elementary, and Russell Keene,
Principal of Southeast High School, are to be commended for
their dedication and commitment to improving student learning and building community support and school pride. Thank
you for the work you do. Lauderdale County School District
Teachers of the Year have also been named. Representing the
