apartment for a year or two . Then she got a house in Echo Park and let the 3 of us stay there . We never went back to Philly . We didn ’ t know what we were doing but we ended up getting a record deal and went on tour with Alice Cooper . It was cool . I did a solo thing the last few years . I didn ’ t go on tour or anything . It was called Next Planet . So I still write songs and jam with some friends once a month . I went so hard on the business side of it . So it ’ s fun to just go back to the love of it . I don ’ t want that to happen to tattooing . I love drawing and doing art on people and sometimes change people ’ s lives . I ’ m happy to be the guy who makes them feel better or whatever it does for them .
Would you call yourself a neotraditional new school guy ? I would say more neotraditional but I have a new school flavor . A lot of my tattoos are new school . Today they ’ ve gotten a lot more bubbly but I think in the 90 ’ s it was a little more graffiti-ish . I still like it . I like the fundamentals of traditional . I believe in them so hard
