I ’ ve gotten away from DJing a whole lot of times and I ’ ve seen people lose focus on their tattooing with a band or different hobbies , so I ’ ve always been a little cautious of that but I think I ’ ve really got it to a point in my life where I have a perfect balance . I wouldn ’ t be able to do good tattoos if I didn ’ t . I ’ ve never made much money off of DJing , spent a lot more than I ’ ve made so at this point it ’ s always gonna be a hobby unless I make it big or something , but when you think of it like I ’ m not in it to make money and it ’ s for my enjoyment , it always stays fun .
Whenever anything becomes something you HAVE to make money at , it ruins it a little . I don ’ t do weekly things or get myself into things I don ’ t want to do . I ’ ve turned down weddings and go with special events and right now people come to me for it , if a big name reggae act or the Dirty Heads which is more like Sublime style music , if people like that come through I know I ’ m on the list of who the promoters know to ask to open . Aside from opening I like to put together my own par-
