The Visiting Artists Program brings acclaimed artists of all disciplines to Anderson Ranch , where they are free to explore new work and complete projects in their areas of expertise . Workshop students engage with Visiting Artists through studio visits and lectures , gaining inspiration and insight into the practice of some of today ’ s leading contemporary artists . Since 1980 , the program has engendered special projects in all studios supported at the Ranch . Recent Visiting Artists include James Casebere , Enrique Martínez Celaya , The Haas Brothers , Takashi Nakazato , Catherine Opie , Tom Sachs and Letha Wilson .
Guest Faculty Lectures
Spend an evening with Anderson Ranch guest faculty as they present slides of their work , and speak about their inspiration , creative process and studio practice . These insightful talks feature different art disciplines and presenters on Sunday and Tuesday evenings throughout the summer workshop season . All are encouraged to attend these free events !
