State of the City
The State of the City address is the annual report of the City of Bloomington presented by the Mayor and City Manager . Each year this event focuses around a different theme while providing updates on the City ’ s activities , business and community partnerships , economic development , and more .
The Bloomington Chamber of Commerce provides a forum for businesses to come together and collaborate to ensure we are positioning Bloomington as the thriving destination it is to visitors from near and far alike . With hospitality being the largest employer in Bloomington , we find our partnership with the Chamber to be invaluable not only for our hotel , but also for helping to ensure that we are working together to promote Bloomington , and ultimately boost the City ’ s bottom line .
