This great hunt takes place in the wilds of northern
Maine. Why travel all the way to New Zealand or Argentina, when you can drive to northern Maine and shoot
a quality stag there? The hunt combines well with black
bear. Maine black bear populations are booming. This hunt
can be conducted either over bait, or with hounds. The
success rate with hounds is 100%. Hunters stay in a comfortable cabin, with home cooked meals eaten in the main
lodge. A great adventure for the hunter from the east,
looking for a quality hunt he can drive to. Stags can be
hunted August to December, no license required. The
black bear baiting season is roughly the month of September, while the hound hunting season is roughly the month
of October. Red stag hunting is 100% successful. Tree stand
