For the second time , the Heritage Halter Grands were awarded to the smallest , most perfect horses in both Amateur and Open divisions .

Grand Driving horses were featured in the finals night Parade of Driving GRANDS this year . Included this year were the 4 newly added Amateur Driving GRANDS .
There were six Youth 7 and under classes offered at this year ’ s World .

Nine days of nonstop showing , parties , get- togethers and camaraderie . Breakfast in the morning , deserts in the afternoon and dinners at night , this world show was a constant social event , proving there ’ s nothing better than good people , good food and showing horses ! Thanks to all who participated and volunteered to make it happen !

During the first days of the Youth events , a special presentation was planned for Lauren Greaves during the Youth Awards Night . The Greaves family is well established in the AMHA – literally the first family- with Tony Greaves serving several terms as President and Lauren appointed as the first AMHyA President .
It seemed only fitting that Lauren celebrate one of life ’ s happiest moments in the center ring of the AMHA World Show . The surprise proposal came off perfectly when fiancé Martin drove Lauren ’ s favorite horse into the arena , presented her a scrap book of memories and on the final pages his cue to drop to one knee and ask that all important question . Of course she said yes , and with a fairy tale ending , they drove off happily in the cart together !
