An award-winning producer and director, Wendy
Ettinger co-founded Chicken & Egg Pictures and
Gamechanger Films, an equity fund dedicated to
financing feature films directed by women. Wendy
was also the Executive Producer for The War Room,
the Academy Award-nominated documentary directed
by Chris Hegedus and D.A. Pennebaker. She serves
on the board of Working Films, The Educational
Foundation of America, Imagine Science, and the 52nd
Street Project.
is the former editor of The New Republic.
Foer has written for Slate and New York magazine. His
book How Soccer Explains the World was published in
2004. The book Jewish Jocks, which he co-edited with
Marc Tracy, was published in 2012; Foer has described
it as an effort to avoid the “simple hagiography” he
found in some of the many existing books about Jewish
sports figures.

BRITDOC and shares responsibility for overseeing
the film funding programs. Franklin has been the
executive producer of a number of award-winning films
including VIRUNGA, ALL THESE SLEEPLESS NIGHTS,

ENDLESS, THE SQUARE, PUSSY RIOT, HELL & BACK
AGAIN, PING PONG AND AFGHAN STAR. She now
heads up the US office of BRITDOC.

The Washington Post from 2004 to 2009. His career
in journalism started in local news, and since then he
has served as the senior Washington correspondent
and bureau chief for The Huffington Post, as editor
of WashingtonPost.com, and as deputy editor of
NiemanWatchdog.org.
