“Praise the Lord Anyway!”
I’m still learning and growing. Many things God reminds us
of, we already know; it’s just a matter of doing them. For me, one of
them is praise. Oh, I can praise Him in the sanctuary, but out in public or at home---that is
where I am weak. Yet, He “inhabits” my praise. He loves and wants my praise (and
yours, too). I find we are apt to praise a lot of things and people, and yet not praise the
Lord.
He saved me…
He forgave me…
He rescued me…
He gave me a new life…He put me on the road to Heaven…
How can I not live a life of praise?
I have learned that praise does more for me than Him. It opens me up to His
presence. It opens me up to be and experience all He desires for me to experience. I
want to be more like David when he said, “Praise will continually be on my lips.”
So, as I head into 2016, my heart is to be more intentional and bold in my
everyday walk with the Lord where it has to do with praise.
I love Him and He is worth!
Your Pastor,
Bill
