EVENTS Celebrating the Arts and Art Making Each year Anderson Ranch hosts a variety of exciting events that bring together art enthusiasts from the Aspen/Snowmass community, across the country and beyond. These festive and lively events attract a broad mix of people who share a love of art and creativity. They also serve to expose the community to top contemporary artists, as well as local artists who are working in the Roaring Fork Valley. Admission to many of these events is free and open to the public; all funds raised support the Ranch’s artistic and educational programs. 19TH ANNUAL RECOGNITION DINNER The Recognition Dinner was Anderson Ranch’s biggest fundraising event of the year, raising over $700,000. Frank Stella received the National Artist Award; Jennifer and David Stockman received the Service to the Arts Award; and works by top contemporary artists were auctioned off in an exciting live auction. 35TH ANNUAL ART AUCTION & COMMUNITY PICNIC Held on the beautiful Anderson Ranch Arts Center campus, the Annual Art Auction & Community Picnic is the Ranch’s largest community event of the year. The event featured nearly 200 works of art donated by artists, collectors and galleries, and raised over $300,000.
