STATE ASSESSMENTS
The Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program encompasses subject-specific assessments for grades 3-8,
as well as high school end-of-course exams. Compared to 2010, tens of thousands more students now achieve
proficient or advanced levels in math and science on these exams compared to 2011. The following graphs illustrate
the growth on state exams in math, reading, and science.
