Lady Cougar program , ranking fourth in points ( 94 ), fourth in goals ( 35 ) and second in assists ( 24 ). Sunday ’ s goal gave Corcione 43 points on the season , tying the CSU single-season record set by Stephanie Lowery in 2010 .
It is the first All-America nod for Pennock and she becomes just the fourth player in Nighthawks ’ program history to earn the distinct honor .
The Pontefract , England native transferred to North Georgia from Montevallo for graduate school and made the most of her final year of eligibility on the pitch . Pennock scored nine goals on the

career . Freshman Olivia Jarrell was also selected an honorable mention .
“ Nicole , Shelby and Olivia all had tremendous seasons and these honors are well-deserved ,” said head coach Jay Entlich . “ All three have put in lots of hours working to get better during their time here and it shows .”
Corcione has stockpiled postseason awards after turning in an outstanding junior campaign . The Candler , N . C . native matched the CSU single-season record for points in a season with 43 after scoring 15 goals and adding 13 assists .
Finishing up her Lady Cougar career , Rolling saved her best season for last . The Stayner , Ontario native anchored the Columbus State defense that turned in 13 shutouts on the year . On the offensive end , Rolling added a career-best seven goals . The senior garnered PBC Tournament Most Valuable Player honors after scoring a pair of goals in CSU ’ s 3-2 victory over North Georgia in the championship match . Rolling wraps up her career as a four-time All-Conference and All-Region selection .
Columbus State wrapped up the season with a 22-3-1 record , setting a new program high for wins in a season and becoming the first Lady Cougar team to reach the final four .
Sports information directors from NCAA Division II schools and conferences selected the three Daktronics All-America teams . The process begins at the regional level with all first-team all-region picks advancing to the national ballot .

After being named one of the team ’ s captains , Pennock made an immediate impact in the UNG midfield , helping fill the void in the loss of Cicely Taliaferro who was named an All-American a season ago .
Pennock will still be a part of the women ’ s soccer program next season , staying on as a graduate assistant coach as she completes her Masters degree .

RUSSELLVILLE , Ark . - Helping the Lady Cougars to a national runner-up finish , Columbus State University women ’ s soccer players Nicole Corcione and Shelby Rolling were each voted to the 2015 Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-America Team .
The recognition is the second All-American nod Corcione has received after being named a NSCAA All-American last week . For Rolling , this is the first All-American honor of her decorated four-year

KANSAS CITY , Mo . - For the first time in program history , a Columbus State University women ’ s soccer player has been named the National Player of the Week by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America as Nicole Corcione earned the Division II Female Player of the Week honors by the organization .
In addition , she becomes just the fourth Peach Belt Conference player to receive the honor .
“ This is a great accomplishment for Nicole ,” said CSU head coach Jay Entlich . “ She has been playing tremendous for us the entire season and it ’ s great to see her get honored , not only by the conference , but by the entire nation . This is just a testament to the effort that she puts in day in and day out .”
Corcione had one of the best weeks all-time by a Lady Cougar scoring five goals and adding three assists in two CSU victories .
In one of the most impressive individual performances in CSU women ’ s soccer history last Tuesday against Georgia Southwestern , Corcione needed just 36 minutes to notch the 11th hat trick in program history .
Just two days later , Corcione was at it again , scoring two goals and adding three assists in CSU ’ s 9-0 victory over Emmanuel . Her seven points set the new single-match program record and she also became
