Music reaches deep within the soul . It takes us back to the fun times of our youth or the memories of someone we love .

Darius Rucker has been the voice of love , pain , and excitement for millions of fans around the world since he first broke onto the music scene with Hootie and Blowfish in 1994 .
Now an independent artist , Rucker continues to rock the country charts with songs like “ Don ’ t Think I Don ’ t Know About It ” and “ It Won ’ t Be Like This for Long ”.
What many fans may not realize is that Rucker has been a long-time Transitions ® lens wearer and more recently signed on to be an ambassador for the company .
Rucker has been wearing prescription lenses since 2010 and Transitions lenses were the first product he tried following his diagnosis of having poor eyesight .
He said his doctor recommended Transitions lenses based on the active lifestyle Rucker leads .
“ My eye doctor recommended Transitions lenses from the beginning , knowing how active I am and how much time I spend outside with my kids , playing golf and also performing ,” Rucker said . “ He also wears them and knew they ’ d fit my lifestyle .”
Rucker was recently introduced to Transitions ® XTRActive ® lenses , which make performing in bright environments easier , particularly outdoor concerts .
