RARE, set of 11 different ‘Tasco’ Educational booklets, and
several Gibbons ‘Educator’ packets. Set includes T2, ‘The One
Cent Issues of 1870 to 1888’; T3, ‘The Three Cent Issues of
1870 to 1887’; T4, ‘The Two Cent Issues of 1908 to 1920’;
T5,’The Three Cent Issues of 1908 to 1920'; T6, ‘The Postage
Stamps of the Confederate States of America’; T8, ‘The
Two-Cent Issues of 1922 to 1938’; T9, ‘The Two-Cent
Columbian Exposition of 1893’; T10, ‘The Three-Cent Issues
of 1851 to 1860’; T11, ‘Booklet Panes of the United States
(with 1¢ pane); T13, ‘The Future Delivery Stamps of the United
States 1918-1938’; and T14, ‘The Potato Stamps of the United
States.’ Although there are no outer envelopes, all are fresh.
Howard McIntosh of the Tatham Stamp & Coin Co. produced
‘Tasco’ booklets on a range of subjects during the 1930s and
’40s, including actual examples of all stamps, except his
counterfeit Confederates. Also included are 7 Gibbons
‘Educator’ packets (with stamps) including better and Tatham
Christmas Seal folder (13ML), with numerous early seals of
Finland. Very fine and quite scarce.

Nine 3-ring binders containing the Germany Philatelic Society
manual of forgeries with supplements apparently to 1985. Fine
condition overall with answers to many questions on
authenticity for German States, Colonies, Offices, Plebiscites,
Germany through the early post WWII issues, and more.
Unclear if all supplements are present, but at least some are
present through #13. Fine condition and a useful reference.

Six (6) black lockable DEALER SHOW cases (19"x15"x6"),
each case can hold 24 dealer books. Four cases in good
condition, one with handle missing & one with broken handle.
PLUS about 100 dealer books in various colors (7" tall by 5").
Cases show some wear from use, but in decent condition. All
the cases come with their respective keys. Great for the show
dealer.

One of the hardest to find of all ‘Tasco’ booklets. Guide features
descriptions and samples of 18 different paper types and colors
from 1853-1943, as well as detailed description on reverse.
Howard McIntosh of the Tatham Stamp & Coin Co. produced
‘Tasco’ booklets on a range of subjects during the 1930s and
’40s. Booklet is very fine, with sharp corners, minimal toning
and all samples intact (there are usually several missing). Outer
envelope also included, but is a little ragged. Very fine and
quite scarce.
