Nations on specialty pages in UN binder, 1986 Development
complete panes for NY, Geneva & Vienna (total cv $210) and
other items; FREEDOM FROM HUNGER (FAO) collection,
in mounts on Minkus album pages with selected worldwide
MNH singles, sets & S/S including ISRAEL #237 with tab
single, plate block & tete-beche strip of 4, TURKEY S/S #1054a
($95) and others; Mint TURKISH CYPRUS collection
(1974-89, total cv $357) in hingeless KABE Album/slipcase
with good range of issues including 1983 Europa S/S #127;
cover album with about 70 FDCs with selections from Vatican
City, Canada, Great Britain, Australia & USA including some
unused USA postal stationery; good variety of assorted
worldwide issues on stock pages & cards, in Post Office
presentation packs & sets and other items; a few hundred
modern Baseball Cards with duplication. SUPPLIES include
large amounts of dealer cards & glassines, cover protectors,
lots of Scott Mounts (unopened & opened) in many sizes,
variety of black stock pages, empty binders and more. Great
lot for stamp club. Overall fine to very fine

1962 EUROPEX SOUVENIR SHEET (x1500)

Printed by the American Bank Note Co. These very attractive
sequentially numbered souvenir sheets illustrate the prize
winning designs for ‘EUROPA’ postage stamps selected by a
special jury of the International Committee of the European
Schools Day, which met in Turin, Italy in July 1961. Lot
includes about 1,500 MINT never hinged souvenir sheets, plus
three overprinted ‘SPECIMEN’, three perforated ‘SPECIMEN’,
and one on First Day Cover. Also present are a group of over
40 covers issued in April 1963 (two different) one with a green
souvenir sheet one with a blue violet S/S for the 15th
Anniversary of the ‘Organization for European Economic
Cooperation’. A wonderful group for the Europa specialist
dealer. The sheets will make a great Promo. When they are
available they retail between $3-$8 each. Very fine.

Well over 1000 different labels, Cinderellas & souvenir sheets
promoting the stamp shows of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Includes foreign as well as United States expos, some
exclusively stamps others where stamps only made up a
percentage of the show. Quite a colorful lot in this 3-ring loose
leaf album with many complete sets and seldom seen items.
Includes varieties, imperfs, proofs, color trials, and more. Strong
in APS national and local shows, internationals, historic stamp
anniversaries, etc. Difficult to describe, close examination
highly recommended. After more than 50 years in this hobby
there are many items in this collection this describer has never
before seen. Generally fine to very fine.

1931-2004 COLLECTION OF SEALS IN SHEETS ..... $300-400
Three mint sheet files and an album with several hundred full
sheets, plus many more Seals in blocks and large multiples.
Includes two sets of full sheets 1931-2004, each missing only
a couple years; another grouping is large blocks 1934-60s then
modern ones to 1994 in full panes with duplication. Other Seals
include Easter, Boystown, Chanukah, NAACP, Wildlife labels
and other charities (mostly full sheets). Not checked for any
perf or letter varieties. Overall very fine.

franked with a variety of colorful worldwide Flower or
Mushroom stamps as singles, sets and in combination with

Poisonous Plants #2254-59, Switzerland B166-69, B287-91
& B308-12, Indonesia Orchids #B146-49 on registered cover
with ‘SURABAJA’ philatelic show cancels and registered FDCs
for DDR Medicinal Plants #494-98, Vietnam #261-65; several
covers with PRC, ROC, Germany & Switzerland frankings;
large amount with USA including Beautification #1368a &
Botanical Congress #1379a FDCs; selected covers from Hong

others. Some usual cover faults, overall fine to very fine.

Fascinating 2½” thick 3-ring binder, loaded with tobacco
stamps, fermented liquor issues, Cinderella stamps, charity
labels, advertising cards and covers, and much more of interest
to the generalist and specialist alike. Lots of fun to go through
here, a real mish-mash. Generally fine to very fine.

Heavy carton loaded with many hundreds of singles, sets and
miniature sheets featuring extensive ELVIS PRESLEY,
MARILYN MONROE and JAZZ musicians. Enormous catalog
value of MINT sheets in amazingly fresh condition. Strength
in USA issues, but includes much foreign including WEST
INDIES, EUROPE and AFRICA with high face and catalog
value. MINT mostly never hinged. Nearly all very fine.

1960s JOHN F KENNEDY COVER, PICTURE
POSTCARD & PAPER EPHEMERA COLLECTION ... $200-300
Large carton filled with a few hundred picture postcards, covers
(mainly First Day or event) plus paper ephemera such as: newspapers, magazines, pamphlets, picture books of the period
immediately following the assassination. The philatelic material
is in very fine condition with both United States and foreign
covers present. The newspapers and magazines show some
age and reading wear, as is normal for these. Overall, a useful
and interesting lot to dig through for the hidden treasures.
