Additional collections are generally pre-printed or quadrille pages in 3-ring albums, including: 2-volume ‘Castro’s Cuba,’ used common; 2-volume ‘Voyager’ Worldwide collection; 3-volume ‘Lotta-StampsA-Month’ collection; and a 1-volume Princess Diana Memorial collection, mint worldwide sets & S/S. With the potential for sleepers in the Internationals, this lot is worth a closer look. 2710 / / / 1850s-1970s DISHEVELED BALANCE LOT ... $500-750 Eclectic and largely unorganized lot, with stamps and covers loose, in glassines, approval cards, a few small stock books and binders. Vast majority of the material from USA and FRANCE, but also includes some Australia, New Zealand, and others. Much material, we just gave this a cursory glance. Looks like mostly USA & foreign FDCs and stamps. There's a 1982 Europa FDC collection, a large group of CUBA used commemoratives and BOB multiples; BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA used regulars, semi-postals and dues; small MONACO stock book; NEW ZEALAND Officials; much more. Mixed condition. Owner's cat value over $6,000. 2711 1880s-1990s LARGE MOSTLY USED ACCUMULATION ...................................................... $750-1000 Large Worldwide accumulation of mostly USED issues in a variety of housings including various size boxes, envelopes, clear plastic bags, binders, stock pages in folders & others. Some highlights include: thousands of issues sorted by countries in envelopes & clear bags; unsorted on & off-paper in envelopes & boxes; country albums with collections for Canada & Philippines; group of beginner albums/collections (a few without stamps); MINT Victory & Peace Omnibus hinged on White Ace album pages in binder (not complete); more. Lots of material including modern worldwide used commemoratives/ topicals. Great lot for stamp club or ambitious collector/dealer. Expect mixed condition, generally average to fine & better. 2716 / 1880s-1970s COLLECTION IN MINKUS GLOBAL ALBUMS (8-VOLS) ...................................................... $350-500 Worldwide collection of a few tens of thousands in eight Minkus Global Albums. Mint and used, some CTO. Somewhat sparse, one volume appears to be empty, still some pockets of material, such as GREAT BRITAIN, a page of MEMEL, FRANCE including 19th century, some SCANDINAVIA, LATIN AMERICA, AUSTRALIA, modern CAMBODIA CTO, DUNE COUNTRIES CTO, and more. Lot also includes a few miscellaneous in a stockbook and glassines including DANZIG mint #241-54, an envelope with 50 different SAAR, two USA Bicentennial S/S sets in envelopes, etc, plus two empty stockbooks and two packs of blank album pages. Overall generally fine to very fine, albums in good shape with just a few pages detached (but included). / / / 1870s-2000 U.S. & FOREIGN ESTATE ACCUMULATION ...................................................... $750-1000 Really mixed bag of stamps & covers. U.S. is majority of value and includes: 1893 expo cards, year sets and more. You can’t help but win on this two carton lot. Includes most Post Office commemorative year sets from the early 1970s through 2000, with 1990-2000 with year books. Other mint items from the 1990s including some sheets, booklets and scrap. Several small U.S. beginner collections, mostly used, but with some mint scattered throughout. Plate block files full of 3¢ to 6¢ blocks with some higher denominations noted as well. (Some flat plates including Parks issues noted in PBs of six). We also noted a nice group of 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition picture postal cards in pristine condition, unused with #230 franking on each, also unused group of Columbian postal stationery in odd sizes. Separate carton of foreign, mostly in albums including country collections of Germany, Austria Switzerland and a couple of International Junior albums also noted are some nice Canada including mint blocks of 4 from the 1930s. Well worth a closer look. Mixed condition in the albums, to very fine in the year sets. 2713 / 2715 / / / 1850s-1970s COUNTRY COLLECTIONS IN OLD STOCK BOOKS .................................................. $250-350 Ancient stock pages barely held together in five different single country collections in a banker’s box. Includes Austria, Japan, Hungary, France and Canada. Mixed condition with some MINT never hinged, previously hinged and mostly used. Some complete sets (mint used and mixed), and some (not huge amounts) duplication. Happy hunting grounds here for the person with lots of time on his hands during the upcoming cold Winter nights. Inspection recommended. 2712 Many thousands of worldwide MINT & USED in glassines in cigar & other boxes, dealer cards & pages, on & off paper, plus empty albums & more. Much better material to be found among the common. Noted: Luxembourg, Belgium, Vietnam, Canada, Great Britain & Commonwealth, lots of sorted USED USA in glassines in cigar boxes, Afghanistan, Germany, Italy, Portugal and many other countries including selected souvenir & miniature sheets. Lots of variety and tremendous catalog value for the collector or dealer. Great for stamp club! Inspection recommended, you won’t be disappointed. Expect some faulty and moderate to heavy duplication for many issues. Overall average to very fine. 2717 / / 1875-1980 FIVE SMALL ‘L-M’ COUNTRY COLLECTIONS ............................................................ $250-350 Five small country collections with mint & used stamps hinged on Scott International pages in two binders. The first binder (3-ring) includes LIBERIA, LUXEMBOURG and MONACO with more than 700 stamps & 29 S/S, and 2009 Scott CV over $650. The second binder (Scott Specialty) includes LIECHTENSTEIN with more than 200 stamps, and MALI with more than 160 stamps, and a total 2009 Scott CV of $650. Clean, attractive s
