1930s CIVIL WAR COLLECTION .................. $750-1000
Collection of more than 800 mostly mint & used stamps &
labels including S/S issued by parties, organizations and
localities from both sides of the Spanish Civil War, in organized
Blue Ribbon stockbook. Great selection, many colorful labels
with patriotic or religious themes with some useful duplication.
MINT include never hinged, hinged or unused no gum. A few
highlights include (by Catalogo De Los Sellos Beneficos &
Locales): selection of mint & used Cruzada #1//#24, Epila MNH
S/S #9 (x2) & #10, Cadiz-Roma #98-99 MH (x2), Montcada
Y Reixiac S/S #32s, Funta Del Piedra ‘i FRANCO’ S/S #18
MH & 19 MNH, several ‘Homenatge a la URSS’ labels and
more including selections from Pins Del Valles, Bilboa, Huevar,
Isla Cristina, Ibiza and others. Some faulty, some gum toning
from housing. Overall fine to very fine.

Seldom offered, mostly cancelled to order stamps sorted on
old manila pages in red stock book. Over 40 different issues
with quantities up to 20 of each. Generally very fine. Total
2012 Scott catalog value in excess of $1,000.

Hundreds of mint & used sets & singles in mounts on quadrille
pages in six 3-ring binders, plus some additional stamps,
approximately 40 cacheted FDCs, etc. Largely complete, mostly
complete sets, mostly used through 1940, mostly complete mint
from there through end. A few MINT highlights include Scott
#758-64, 841 S/S, 915 S/S, 933 S/S, 963-77, 1054a S/S,
1059-74 plus imperf singles and pairs complete, B54-68
(B67-68 used), C1-5, C9-11, more including a few non-Scott
items. Some earlier issues with stains and other mount issues,
highlights and later issues sound, fine to very fine or better,
with much NH.
