between vertically). Currently noted in Scott as printer’s waste,
but many similar items of this era have recently been re-listed
as proofs. Design measures 18x24½mm, making this the
booklet stamp #2814. Natural booklet straight edge at right,
full original gum, MINT never hinged, very fine. Normally seen
as pair only.

Very fine imperforate pair on handpainted ‘Van’ FDC. Stamps
tied by Sept 2, 1988, Omaha, NE, hand-stamped FDC. Very
scarce on FDC, and not valued. Very fine. Ex-Cook.

Post Office fresh, MINT never hinged top margin horizontal
pair, imperforate vertically. From only pane of 100 discovered.

Very fine pairs of color omitted error tied to Artcraft FDC by
unofficial Jan 23, 1986, Dayton, OH, hand-stamped cancel.
Fresh, very fine and scarce on FDC. Ex-Cook. (Brookman

Pretty PLATE block of 3 horizontal pairs with vertical gutter
and plate number (B3434-3) between. Middle pair se-tenant
with inscription label. Catalog value (for 3 pairs) doesn’t begin
to cover premium for plate number, gutter and label. Extra fine
and MINT never hinged. (Datz #15th edition $405) Cat $375.

A fine example of this scarce ‘invisible’ tagging omitted error,
on one of the most popular Black Heritage series stamps. MINT
never hinged. Cat $300.

Odd and visually striking freak, as virtually all dark engraved
blue is omitted from Agave plant. Only a few flecks remain.
Agave stamp is the only place on block where this color occurs.
We have never seen this variety before. MINT never hinged,
very fine. Ex-Dr Spalding. (2013 PSE Cert #1265307)
