Located right in the heart of Bergen County,
Westwood is known as “The Hub of the
Pascack Valley” and has a bustling downtown
with an array of dining options as well as
the Westwood Theaters. Residents enjoy a
number of outdoor areas including Westvale
Park, which is home of the Westwood Dog
Park and adjacent to the Pascack Brook
County Park, and Veterans’ Park, located
next to the Westwood Train Station. The
borough is also the home of Hackensack
University Medical Center at Pascack Valley.

Located along the southern stretch of Route
17, the borough offers families a small-town
feel with easy access to restaurants and shops
on the highway. The Wesmont train station
opened earlier this year giving residents
easier access to other regions. That was also
part of a major redevelopment project on the
former site of the Curtiss-Wright Corp. that
brought more housing and retail options to
the borough’s mix.
