From multiple high-rise buildings to
restaurants, the borough has a lot to offer
residents. It also provides easy access to
Route 46 and other highways. A recent
census showed that approximately 51 percent
of residents were Korean, which is reflected
in a lot of the businesses and restaurants
along the downtown stretch of Broad
Avenue, but the borough is comprised
of a diverse community.

A consumer’s dream, Paramus is one of the
largest shopping destinations in the United
States with three large malls and a number
of smaller strip malls lining the highways of
Route 17 and Route 4. But the borough is
not all noise and bustle – Paramus features
many quiet residential neighborhoods and is
home to the Bergen County Zoological Park
for animal lovers and a long stretch
of Saddle River County Park for naturists.
The borough is also well known for its
Fourth of July celebration.
