Located in the Northern Valley, Closter

shop locally, well-know restaurants and
recreational options for children. The town
also boasts its own shopping hot spots and
restaurants, as well as local businesses that
have operated in the community of 8,500
people for decades. Excitement in this town
is on the rise with the rebirth of Closter
Plaza, a shopping center that will have a
Whole Foods, Target and restaurants. High
schoolers attend the esteemed Northern
Valley Regional High School system.
Residents enjoy a variety of parks and a
136-acre nature center full of ponds and
forests to explore.

CRESSKILL
Primarily a residential community with a mix
of modern and historic home styles, Cresskill
has an active downtown with a variety
of restaurants, stores and mom-and-pop
shops. There’s also easy access to the trendy
boutiques in nearby towns. This Northern
Valley borough also has a well-regarded
school system and a strong recreational
program to keep families busy throughout
the year. The senior center is also one of the
more active ones in the area.
