Elizabeth Ann Tokoly’s EatMetal helps the community
create inspired pieces of jewelry

W
hen it comes to jewelry, Elizabeth Ann
Tokoly wears many
hats. As the founder
of EatMetal, Inc.,
she not only
designs and handcrafts her beautiful
pieces, but she opens the doors to her
Hoboken studio to share her love of
jewelry with the community as both a
gallerist and a teacher.
“Jewelry truly is an art form, and
I love to invite people here to share
in that,” says Tokoly of EatMetal, the
business she opened in 2011, named
as a combination of her initials and her
favorite material to work with.
“When I first started the business
I was making jewelry, building my
collections and putting them in other galleries,” she says. “About two years ago
I opened my studio, and it has grown
into a place for the community to come
take classes, as well as a gallery for my
own work and for exhibiting the work of
other artists.”
Tokoly crafts her jewelry into simple,
classical shapes, such as circles and triangles, but her designs are anything but
