Owner and manager Valerie Duardo opened Mint Market’s second location in October of 2015, after the first location in Hoboken has proven to be well-loved among locals. Visit the boutique for something that is fashion-forward and trendy, without being mainstream or basic; everything has a vintage element or retro flair to it. “Think a lot of lace, quirky prints, vintage florals, beading and intricate details,” Duardo says. “We also sell vintage designer bags, vintage clothing you could mix into your wardrobe, and vintage costume jewelry.” Stop by the boutique for styling events, where Mint Market will offer certain dresses at a discount. 339 Grove St., (201) 630-4407, shopmintmarket.com 16 MAY 2016 (201) GOLD COAST Although Jersey City Fish Stand launched last spring as a part of the local farmers’ markets, the storefront just opened in December 2015.
