Home Master Bedroom The initial inspiration for the master bedroom started with the tall upholstered bed. The Christopher Guy headboard incorporates a soft tufted fabric to help soften the space and includes eloquent woodcarving for a unique touch of detail. The nightstands finishes complement the bed detailing and is very simple in design to accentuate the bed without detracting from the dramatic headboard. “The client also wanted to highlight the ceiling beams, so the design incorporates up-lighting and a contrasting white paint color,” Deleon says. “The chandelier brings a glamorous touch of sparkle and Old World glamour to the room.” Simple window treatment panels fabricated from silk give a modern minimal look that does not detract from the architectural features. They also help the acoustics of the room, “as the client did not want to incorporate an area rug,” Deleon adds. The tailored jacquard bedding adds a soft feminine touch, as well as a small amount of pattern with dressmaker details. 80 FALL 2015 (201) GOLD COAST
