Top Doctors Hugo D. Kitzis and Sandra Giron, both board-certified in Obstetrics
and Gynecology, are dedicated to providing compassionate, expert care for women
at all stages of their lives.
From conducting routine annual gynecologic examinations to performing
advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, Dr. Kitzis has been a trusted figure
in medical treatment for the past 42 years. Until quite recently, he was delivering his
third generation of babies. Dr. Kitzis is a fellow with the American College of
Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as the Medical Society of New Jersey. He is a
proponent of hormone replacement therapy, using bioidentical hormones, and the
Essure method of sterilization.
Integral to the OBGYN Associates practice is Dr. Giron, who joined in 2001. She
received her medical degree from SUNY Syracuse Health Service Center, and she is
also a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gyn ecology. She provides a
full range of services from family planning and pre-pregnancy visits to infertility testing and treatment, while also handling high-risk pregnancies compromised by blood
disorders, obesity, high blood pressure and diabetes, through labor and delivery. “I
think that, as a woman, my patients can more freely discuss certain subjects that they
might normally be a bit hesitant about, such as heavy menstrual periods and postpartum depression. I feel honored that they are able to confide in me,” she says.
We are proud to announce our affiliation with Hackensack University Medical
Group. Rounding out the practice are five additional physicians. For added patient
convenience, OBGYN Associates has a second office at 20 Prospect Avenue, Suite
805 in Hackensack and a third at 1005 Clifton Avenue in Clifton. The physicians and
staff are fluent in English, Spanish and Hebrew.
