Braddock Park is named after the 1930s World Heavyweight Boxing Champion and longtime resident of Hudson County, who was an inspiration during the Great Depression. With a land area of 167 acres, it is one of the largest and most beautiful of Hudson County’s parks. Home to the 16-acre Woodcliff Lake, the park offers great catch-and-release fishing and turtle watching. It is a birders paradise with hawks, snowy egrets, ospreys and red-winged black birds. Don’t forget your fishing poles and binoculars.
