Of course Shake Shack has delicious
burgers and fries, but I can never
resist ordering a shake with my meal.
With new “Shake of the Week”
options – from caramel pretzel and
red velvet to brownie batter and
apple pie – it’s hard not to finish
your shake before you even bite into
your burger. Regular menu shakes
include classic vanilla, chocolate,
salted caramel, black & white
(a personal favorite of mine),
strawberry, peanut butter and coffee

There’s barbecue and then there’s
smoked barbecue, which takes
“finger-licking-good” to an entirely
new level. My favorite smoked
chicken is ready for the plucking at
the corner establishment, SMOKED,
on Godwin Avenue in Ridgewood.
The meat is flavorful and juicy with
just the right amount of smoke.
Paired with a side of corn pudd’n
makes this the best smoked chicken
meal north of the Mason-Dixon line.
