Upcoming Schedule By Loney Wilcoxson 94 Wide Open Riders everywhere are marking their calendars for the “can’t miss” events ahead. Based on the attendance at our bike show, along with the buzz of show attendees, folks are stoked big time for this year’s fun in the sun. I’ve already received several texts, calls, and emails from folks asking for information regarding what’s on tap at one of my favorite hangouts, St. Joe HarleyDavidson, this year. As always I have the straight scoop from the McCreary’s little jewel to our north. First and foremost keep in mind, St. Joe Harley-Davidson is closed on Sundays and Mondays. While the McCreary’s are all about taking care of their customers, they are equally dedicated to their employees. Everybody has a family and personal obligations to attend to. While some dealerships are moving towards being open 7 days a week, the McCreary’s refuse to increase hours of business at the expense of their employee’s well-being. Personally I refuse to patronize business that are open on Sundays or holidays. I believe if everyone did so, no one would ever miss a holiday with their family. With that in mind I applaud St. Joe Harley-Davidson, and you should too! The McCreary clan and their crew have spent years building an impeccable reputation of taking care of folks. As a matter of fact this reputation has been 45 years in the making. That’s right 45 years. Look around you. How many motorcycle businesses around you have kept the doors open for 45 years let alone prospered? That’s right damn few. Well folks this summer you are going to get the opportunity to be part of one big time anniversary party. But that is just one event in a riding s eason full of events at St. Joe Harley Davidson. April 4th Swap Meet and Smokin Saturday Tunes Kick off the spring with a monster swap meet. Did I mention that those with goods to swap get to do so for free? Reserve your spot early this event filled up in a hurry last year. Call Mick at 816-233-9061 to secure your spot. A free word of advice, get their EARLY. Folks don’t sleep in at this swap, you snooze you lose. Hang around after the swap meet for the 1st Smokin Saturday Tunes of the 2014 season. Bring the family and friends for live music, great food, cold beer and epic deals on all things HD! May 17th Demo Days Come on out and throw a leg over your favorite new Harley-Davidson model.
