Fallen Brothers
In Memory of Radar Love
By Pete Zibers & Loney Wilcoxcon
I'm sure many of you have already heard the
sad news. However, for those of you who have
not, it is with a very heavy heart that I tell you about
my very dear friend and parts guru at Bad Seed
Motorcycle Company. Brent Estep aka “Radar
Love” passed on Tuesday, February 18th, 2014.
He was 46 years old.
Radar has been involved in the motorcycle
business for over 20 years in the Kansas City
area. His resumè is diverse. He attended MMI
(Motorcycle Mechanic Institute) in Phoenix, AZ.
After graduation, he worked at Glendale HarleyDavidson, Easyrider’s, Worth Harley-Davison
North, Fog Cycles, Bears Highway Classics,
Chromed Out Magazine, Knobtown Cycle, Hardcore Customs and Bad Seed Motorcycle Company.
Radar had the ability to be friends with everyone. Here are some comments that were posted
on Facebook:
• Radar Love, know that you made a difference in
my life. Somehow, on my worst day, you made
me smile and laugh.
• It's so great to see the impact Brent had on so
many. He was such a unique character and will
80 Wide Open
always be remembered in so many ways,
through music, movies, good stories and good
times. I think I'm still mad, but not just at him.
Missing you Brother.
• Lost in thought. Can't find words today. Much
love brother Radar Love.
• Damn Radar passed, he was a stand up dude,
I came in looking for parts and he talked to me
for almost an hour bs-ing like we knew each
other our whole lives.
• I'm going to miss my brother from another
mother, his passion for the MC world and just
plain being a stand-up guy, willing to take care
of business in ANY form! We'll Ride Again Mr."
Dar" known to most as Radar Love... R.I.P.
These are a few of the comments and many
more heartfelt condolences that where posted to
Facebook.
I will end with words from the Estep Family.
We would like to thank everyone for expressing such great love and admiration for our dear
brother. As a member of the biker community, he
seemed to be not only our brother, but a brother to
many of you, as well. We are happy to know that
he touched so many lives in so many ways, and it
has been a pleasure to get to read the various
memories you shared.
Ride Free till we meet again. . . Hole Shot.
The Estep Family would like to thank everyone
the sent flowers, donated to a charity or gave of
their time and talents to the Service and Celebration of Life.
