Spencer West

Spencer West had had severe deformity of the spine, so at age 5 his limp and legs were taken away from him. He learned how to walk with his hands and he accomplished many things in his life. He climb Mont. Kilimanjaro during his trip in Kenya to raise awareness and funds for the school he built. In 2000, West tore a rotator cuff in his shoulder and was unable to walk for two months. An injury like that on Kilimanjaro would end his journey quickly, and possibly affect his mobility for the rest of his life.
