Molly Burke was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, which is a sickness that caused her to lose her visions. She went through hardships, anxiety, and depression during her high school times. At five years old, she was an ambassador for The Foundation Fighting Blindness Canada. She inspired people with her story. She was a speaker at We Day and she travel across North America and UK with Demi Lovato, Macklemore, Martin Sheen, and many more famous people. In 2009, she received the Oakville YMCA Peace Award. She ran with the Paralympic torch in the winter games. She believes everyone can overcome and survive challenges in their life and learn how to succeed from their struggles. Molly says that others should let go of their past and look at the future with bright eyes and positive outlook. Her goal is to educate, motivate and inspire others to find peace, happiness and achieve their goals even in their darkness days.
