Henry Winkler was born on October 30, 1945 in Manhattan, New York. He is an actor, author, speaker, comedian, and a producer. His parents were a Jewish immigrants who avoided the Holocaust. His grades were poor in elementary and later they found out he had dyslexia. His parents wants him to work in their lumber company, but he saw the roles on the stage are the key to his happiness. Later on in college, he became an actor, but it was unsuccessful. He later had interest in being a psychologist. But he didn't stop trying to become an actor. He later accomplished 30 commercials and got a major role on the film, The Lords of Flatbush.
