Michel is a former child soldier, he has encountered unimaginable pain and struggles. His passion and belief in the possibility for change makes him a truly remarkable individual.

He was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, He grew up surrounded by the Great War of Africa. He experienced his father being tortured, his mother being raped and him himself being tortured. Much of his childhood was based off of the war.

He was forced to leave his home as a refugee when he was only 11. He travelled many african countries. He experienced the problems of the developing world, but also the beauty of the communities and people who live there.

He is now a motivational speaker all across North America. He has spoken to over 100 000. He leaves his audiences with a new view of life, sense of hope through social responsibility and a desire for change.
