We all know how important water is to humans, animals and plants. Without water, nothing can survive. In Canada, we use water for farming, for hydro electric power, for transportation, for tourism, and for many many different activities as well. We use water for everything. No water equals to no crops; no crops equals no business; no business equals no job; no job equals no food and shelter for our families. This is just one example. It’s a great chain reaction, kind of like the food chain. Once you take something out, everything goes wrong.

Here in Manitoba we are already facing big issues about our massive lake, Lake Winnipeg. Dangerous and toxic algal blooms are, well, blooming, causing pollution in the water. Even here we’re having problems with water. Well, just imagine those who have a problem that’s bigger than a lake! This is why we need to step up our game and help each other out.
