Illiteracy is a curse!
scar on the face of our civilization!
Illiteracy is that
negative force which makes our civilization hollow!
It is a very sorry plight that even in the 21st century, when there
has been tremendous advancement in so many fields; there
are many undeveloped areas where the light of literacy has not
yet reached. They are far away from the promising aspects of
life. These sections of our society are a blot on the civilized
world. At a very tender age when children are supposed to be
receiving proper education they are forced to work in order to
support their families. They are surrounded by squalor and the
apathy of people. Their shoulder’s are weighed down and
burdened with the atrocities of life. They are engaged in child
labour which is a very shameful act on the part of those cruel
people who practice and encourage it.
