Being a Fresher

fter a continuous hard work for two years, I got admission in NSIT in spot round. Leaving behind that hardworking, boring, stressful time, I entered the college in a hope of making new friends and having fun. The transformation from boring school uniform to stylish T-shirts and jeans, from individual bunks to mass bunks, from school discipline to college freedom was very thrilling. On my very first day, our class bunked three lectures. Then after 2-3 days, our seniors threw a party in one of the most renowned pubs of Rajouri Garden. The party was full of fun with lots of snacks, drinks, music. Then came the freshers week, where we had to go for auditions of different societies. It was all fun for first two weeks. But after then, some serious study began. For the sake of attendance, we had to attend each and every class. Especially the lecture of manufacturing process, engineering drawing were very boring and confusing. All guys were eagerly waiting for 5th September, the date when our official fresher party was originally scheduled. But it got cancelled due to some unknown reasons. All our dance and play practice went in vain. Then from 15th of September the most annoying things began-:our mid semester exams. It was like getting back to that stressful time. It was time to again apply the old formula of "late to bed and early to rise". Anyhow, those stressful 5 days of exams passed. And then came the freshers party we were all eagerly waiting for. The party was really awesome with lots of dancing, singing, hooting for students of other branches and having drinks with friends at evening. For the next few days, the images we all friends clicked were trending on facebook and whatsapp. In the end, I would also like to add that our seniors are really helpful. They help us in every possible way.Life so far in college has been fantastic.Hopefully this joy continues for the rest of my college life.
