food bank usage

Food bank usage by Canadians have gone up tremendously in the last few years. Just from 2008 to 2014 food bank usage

has gone up 247%. Food bank usage has increased more than double from 2008. People who use food banks aren't usually homeless. Most people who use the food banks are people with jobs but can't afford to buy food. They have to use their hard earned money to pay other bills and by the time they've paid they wouldn't have enough money to buy food for themselves or their family.

This Food bank usage map is just from the month of March. Just think about how many people use food banks in a year. The number would just be crazy.
