With the food prices going up it is getting harder and harder to buy foods to make a good, nutritious meal. There is a way to spend less and still have a nutritious meal. You can buy pulses(beans) instead of buying meat. Beans give the same nutritional value as meats and are also much cheaper. Beans are all high in zinc, iron and protein, the same thing meat gives.Another way of saving money on food is buying frozen fruits and vegetables.

The myth that frozen are less nutritious than fresh is false. Frozen fruits and vegetables have the same nutritional value or sometimes even more. Frozen fruits and vegetables are frozen while they are fresh which hold the vitamins and minerals in the fruit or vegetable.
