bowl games Dave’s teams have attended. I can’t help but think that they must be nice inspiration on those days when a workout feels less enjoyable than a good soak in the tub. During our visit, Susie and I found ourselves discussing our families, our children, the challenges of being working parents and the advice Susie has to offer a mother who has many years before our babies leave the nest. It was inspiring to hear the stories of the Christensen kids’ upbringing, and how Dave and Susie wove their careers in closely with their family travels and memories. Their home, too, demonstrates a close connection between a love of family and friends and the career which influences their lives in many ways. The pride the Christensens have in being a part of Wyoming spirit is palpable and their home is a living representation of that fact. I was impressed by not only the welcome we received, but the home’s genuine warmth and spirit. This is a family who truly has a passion for each other, as well as what they do. That passion makes this house ‘homey.’ WLM
