A Day I'll Never Forget

by Niko Goncharoff

When I was four years old, my

brother´s birthday was the start of the day that I´ll never forget. His birthday party took place at Barcelona´s chocolate factory. We had a tour around the factory and they showed us how to make chocolate. Then, for the gran finally, we got to make drawings with melted chocolate. At that time, I loved chocolate and was obsessed with it so, instead of using the chocolate to draw, I ate it all.

We got a whole hour to play outside while the drawings were drying and during that hour, I felt the sickest I ever felt and the staff called my parents as soon as they heard my conditions. I don´t remember the exact details, so my dad told me that when he picked me up, I was literally covered, head to toe, in chocolate.
