YOUNG LAWYER’S SHOWCASE BRITTNEY BORNEMANN grew up in Hazen, North Dakota.  She received both her Bachelor of Science Degree and Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Mary in Bismarck.  Brittney then received her Juris Doctorate with distinction from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2010.    After law school, Brittney served as an associate at Larson, Latham, Huettl LLP in Bismarck from 2010 to 2012, where her practice focused on family law, estate planning, probate law, contract law, and elder law.  In 2012, Brittney joined the Rodenburg Law Firm in Bismarck where she focuses her practice on creditor’s rights and debt collection.  She is licensed in North Dakota state courts.   In her spare time, Brittney enjoys traveling to new places, spending time with family and friends, staying active, and working to improve her admittedly terrible golf game.     WHITNEY IRISH is an attorney with Vogel Law Firm in Fargo.  Whitney’s areas of concentration include estate planning and oil and gas. In 2008, Whitney received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, in Business Management from the University of North Dakota. Whitney earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While at the University of Denver, Whitney received Scholastic Excellence Awards for legal research and legal writing, as well as the DU Law Merit Scholarship and Law Scholarship. Whitney is a member of the State Bar Association of North Dakota and the Red River Valley Estate Planning Council.   Whitney resides in Fargo, her hometown, with her husband, Simon.  In her spare time, Whitney enjoys relaxing with her husband and their great dane, Bruce, and spending time at the lake. 16 The Gavel February 2013
